France Telecom chose Constructel, a Visabeira Group company, to recover its infrastructures on the island of Martinique.

As a telecommunications operator in the region, France Telecom saw its infrastructures damaged by Hurricane Dean, which left its marks throughout the entire Caribbean, including the Dominican Republic, Haiti, Mexico and Cuba.

Among its main international service providers, France Telecom chose this supplier to carry out the reconstruction "based on Constructel’s international dimension, technical capabilities in terms of telecommunications engineering, swiftness in doing the work, and ability to develop the maintenance operations after the damaged network is actually recovered," stressed the Visabeira Group in a statement.

Constructel was the chosen one, and has already sent professionals to the site.
